Getting to the foul line more consistently will allow both of them to jump to the next level. Especially Tatum because he shoots so many bad fall away shots where he avoids contact. He needs to look for contact if that is how the game is going to be officiated and get those extra 10 points a game at the line. For him to be a player who purposefully draws/initiates contact, he'll need to alter his demeanor (which I hope he does). He hasn't been the instigator type, and being physical hasn't been his game, but that needs to change. He's bigger now and can absorb more contact. He should become more aggressive. Jaylen needs to be more physical too. Too finess and not enough banging. He's got to bring out the Dominique Wilkins inside of him.

They both need to become better playmakers and elevate their teammates versus just having the tools to take guys 1-on-1. Jaylen has gotten better from his early days of head down and never looking up, but I'm hoping to see a little less of take your turn isos. Obviously, having a better supporting cast factors into this so it's a combo of improving the rest of the roster and hoping our two all-stars can elevate some more.

They can still be high 20's scorers by being efficient scorers in the team offense, and going iso only when it's a viable option. But them creating for others will be big. The other guys need to be more involved and counted on too.

Tatum has added more muscles to his arms.
He'll be able to absorb more contact now, and finish at the rim. More And-1's, which means a higher scoring average. Could he be the first Celtic to average more than 30ppg?

Could he be the first Celtic to average more than 30ppg? Larry Bird didn't break 26 PPG until his 6th season.. Tatum's 26.4PPG in his 4th season beats Pierce's 26.1PPG in his 4th season and Tatum did it more efficiently in less minutes The dude is something special when it comes to scoring. He is getting buckets quicker than guys like Dame Time and is Kobe-esque in his trajectory. Will he break 30 PPG? I'd bet good money he will do so. Will he do it next season? No. It takes awhile to get comfortable in a new coaching system and if Udoka is coming from the Spurs tree then you can expect more team-focused wins (Duncan never averaged higher than 25.5PPG for a season). However Udoka would be a fool not to use a star scoring machine and that realisation may only come in his 2nd or 3rd season as HC. But hey, I'm ready to be proven wrong!

I'm ready to say that 28 ppg might be his high this season, only because Udoka is preaching ball movement and making others around him better (as well as taking good shots). Tatum may not exceed last year's 20 shot attempts per game -- at least not early in the season. But if Tatum can increase his efficiencies, like upping that FG% a tick and getting to the line a few more times, he could just break that 30 pt line.
