Well, Team USA lost its first game to a French team led by Fournier - who scored 28. Combine this loss with two losses in pre-Olympic play and you have to say this team is in trouble. They better wake up real soon.

They are soft, both mentally and physically and you can't fix that. IDK why Green is on the team, all he is good at anymore is running his mouth. But Pop has him starting, which is pure terrible coaching.

I want to see Tatum step up and be the guy who plays the right way and sparks a winning streak.

Is it just me...or is Pops actually struggling to coach these guys? It almost feels as if he doesn't know who to defer to.

The players are complaining because he is forcing them to run the Spurs offense. He hasn't been very good without Duncan (after Doc chased him out of signing in Orlando in 2000), Parker, and Ginobli all taking less money to keep the team together in San Antonio.

Just like how Brad was tuned out, maybe even Pop's time has come to an end.

I didn't watch much Olympic basketball, but I watched a little of the gold medal game against France and it was good to see Tatum play a solid game. 19 points in 21 minutes on 8-14 shooting.
On another note, it was striking how many international players are/were in the NBA. France alone had three former Celtics, Fournier, Poirier and Yabusele.
