I was rooting for PHX but am happy for both the Bucks and the city of MIL. Giannis was amazing - unstoppable on offense, everywhere on defense, and, incredibly, almost perfect from the FT line. An all-time great closeout game performance. I agree with you guys that his staying in MIL instead of hunting around the league for a winning opportunity elevates him above the ring-chasers. PHX was one shooter short of winning. Jae Crowder is a hard-nosed player who can hit the occasional 3, but you don't really want your championship hopes resting on his shooting. In the end he couldn't knock down wide open 3s while the Bucks focused on smothering Booker and Paul - the latter of which looked old at times with his untimely turnovers. Having seen a true superstar in action in Giannis, I think those who want to call Tatum a superstar need to reevaluate. Maybe someday, but not now.You hit the nail on the head with that comment. Jayson is an all-star talent, but he isn't a superstar, not even close. He has the talent to get there, his desire to get there will be the determining factor if he makes it or not.

This was one of the few series where i wish both teams could win. As a PHX fan i'd be devastated b/c who knows if you'll ever get this close again? IMO Phoenix doesn't make it this far if 75% of the playoff teams weren't ravaged with injuries during the playoffs. Chris Paul is playing on borrowed time. Booker is great, but I don't see him getting a lot better. I'd don't see any of their other guards/wings making big jumps. Maybe Ayton can make a big jump up?

I doubt we'll see the Heat back in the Finals anytime soon. You're absolutely right...some teams are going to get there by luck and failing to capitalise will haunt them for a long time. Whereas you kinda saw the Bucks being a perennial contender because of Giannis as a 2-time MVP. I see the Nuggets being a better contending team than the Suns if Murray is back healthy. Any time a guy is an MVP, you have a strong case for being in the Finals consistently.
