I didn't get to see game 1, but game 2 is shaping up to be a nail-biter. I enjoy watching both of these teams play. I hope this series goes 7.

Bridges is a stud! Hes the sorta player every team wants. Not a superstar but the quiet team-orientated 2-way player who is just as critical for championship runs. Iguodola-esque

This is the finals I wanted. Two very good players playing for two championship starved teams

Agreed. Either of these cities is gonna lose their minds if they end up winning this.

Boy, Game 5 was a helluva game. MIL made 1 more play and that was it.
Giannis is a beast, but it's Middleton who has really impressed me with his clutch play at the end of games. That guy makes TOUGH shots in crunch time. And Jrue is just a winning player. He's not flashy but I'd take him on my team any day. All the stars on both teams played well though. I hope we see the same thing in Game 6 in MIL.

Khris has a really nice game. A savvy vet game. Not predicated on speed or athleticism but just a consistent ability to find good looks and nail the simple stuff. And I think the big difference is that Khris worked with a chip on his shoulder being a 2nd round pick...which sometimes guys in the 1st round will never do.

this has been a really good finals. Tommy would love it. I did prefer the Suns, but I think I now prefer the Bucks. The Bucks are the city that seems least likely to win a ring. It would be like the TWolves winning one. But here we are

I am very happy for the Bucks, a well earned championship. Chris Paul showed how classless he is by running off the court without congratulating any of the Bucks. It isn't surprising since he is good friends with LeBitch. The best part is that Giannis showed that a real star can win without having a super team built around him like LeBitch has his entire career and then complain about not having enough help when he falls short.

Giannis stuck it out, committed to the organisation, and they swung for the fences with the Jrue Holiday trade because they recognized the missing piece they needed. Bledsoe was a good guard but whenever Giannis sat, the offense stalled. Whereas Jrue is special because he scored, defended AND facilitated. A good overall team with depth and role players. Congratulations to them!
I'm glad they won it and not the Nets and their BS superteam with divas who forced their way out.

Yep I saw CP3 walk off early. (censored) move. I respected him and was hoping he'd win a ring but that sorta behaviour showed me how classless he was. Not forgetting that he was the one who played badly in several games this series and turned over the ball in crucial moments that cost them games. The very least he could do was acknowledge the other team.

Totally. Giannis showed he's a man. Not some sissy that runs off to chase rings with his friends because he can't lead them to a championship. He just firmly placed himself above the Durants of the world and waaaayyyyyy ahead of James Harden.

I was rooting for PHX but am happy for both the Bucks and the city of MIL. Giannis was amazing - unstoppable on offense, everywhere on defense, and, incredibly, almost perfect from the FT line. An all-time great closeout game performance. I agree with you guys that his staying in MIL instead of hunting around the league for a winning opportunity elevates him above the ring-chasers.
PHX was one shooter short of winning. Jae Crowder is a hard-nosed player who can hit the occasional 3, but you don't really want your championship hopes resting on his shooting. In the end he couldn't knock down wide open 3s while the Bucks focused on smothering Booker and Paul - the latter of which looked old at times with his untimely turnovers.
Having seen a true superstar in action in Giannis, I think those who want to call Tatum a superstar need to reevaluate. Maybe someday, but not now.
