I'm starting to be slightly more optimistic about Romeo. I feel like this is really his true rookie year. That's how we need to look at Romeo's development -- in essence, this will be his rookie year. This is the first offseason he's been able to focus much attention on improving his basketball related skills. With his prior injuries and rehabbing, and with reworking his shooting form (and for any of you who's done it, muscle memory takes time to develop so it's like second nature, and then the confidence and trust you have to build in that shooting form), I'm excited to see what he'll look like with time to hone his game.

I will say this about Romeo -- if he's out of the league in a few seasons, it won't be for lack of talent. It will be because he never seized the opportunity and gave it his all. I can sense a lackadaisical demeanor from him.
Rob was like that too, but he deteemined himself to change -- and to his credit, he's seized the moment.

Romeo doesn't yet have an appreciation for how hard you have to play on every single possession to make it in the league.

See what happens when Pritch doesn't have Carsen taking shots away from him? 😁
