Whether as a starter or a regularly used bench player averaging better than 15 mpg, which of these young guys will earn their spot in the rotation?

I think Romeo is a bust and the others aren't. R Will is already a starter.

Of the 5 none seem for-sure, but i voted for Nesmith b/c he's the one im most confident in. I love Williams but my goodness his health scares me. i think Romeo has talent, but that dude neeeeeds a healthy season to prove his worth. Peyton should be a solid backup PG in this league for a long time.

Given time and health, I see all 4 of these guys developing into important role players.
Rob has the highest ceiling, but yeah he's got to stay healthy. Nesmith and Romeo both flashed their talent. Pritch has the lowest ceiling, but highest floor.

Obviously it depends on who else is on the roster and who can stay healthy.
Robert and Pritch were already regular rotation guys this past year.
If Fournier is not back, it makes it more likely that both Romeo and Nesmith are both rotation players. If he IS back, I think it'll be one or the other. If I have to choose now I'll go with Nesmith just because he seems to have a knack for being in the right place.

Romeo has to come back a completely different player to not be a bust. I wouldn't place him in Gershon territory or RJ Hunter Land, but he has badly disappointed.

One thing about Romeo is in his two years combined, he's only played in what is equivalent to 14 NBA games played by Tatum. Yet, with such limited time, Brad used him to run the offense, and he actually had moments he looked like a seasoned vet. This offeason, he will have the time to work on his game without having to focus on rehabbing his hand.

Huge year for Romeo coming up. He finally showed he could hit some 3s in the playoff loss to the Nets, but he'll have to show he can do that consistently.
I really believe that so much depends on the opportunity to play regularly. Both Romeo and Nesmith need to play more. I like Fournier, but there is no doubt in my mind that having him back will hold them back, so Brad is going to have to make a long-range assessment of the potential of the two young guys.

Charles Barkley said something recently about AD's injury history (paraphrasing) "you shouldn't be getting injured often and missing significant time when you're young". Obviously, some guys just need time to build up their physique (I think Romeo, I hope, is an example of this). For RWill, I fear he'll never get healthy enough to be relied upon all year.
I like what Nesmith showed at the end of this year and think he can continue that for next year if the roster allows it.

I'd like to see Nesmith improve on his D but he's my pick for a guy who could stay with us long term. I'm thinking his ceiling could be along the lines of OG Anounoby(?) the guy on the Raptors or at the very least, Danny Green?

I can see Nesmith as a backup SG in a season or two, and Romey the backup Point.

Nesmith is going to work his way into the starting rotation this year at SG (as long as he hilds his end on defense).
Pritch is already a steady backup and spot starter.
Rob is a monster who will finally unleash his full potential. Top 5 in blocks, double digit rebounder, and most eletrifying lob dunker in the NBA.

I agree with the consensus here that Romeo is furthest away from staking a claim to a regular spot in the rotation. At some point he has to be more than "potential". Nesmith and Pritch have dominated summer league so far. Romeo has been near invisible. I'm still hoping we can see a reason to believe in him. But time is running out.

Pritch and Nesmith have found their niche (if Pritch was 6'5", he'd probably be a much bigger name). Romeo's game is more diverse because grew up being groomed to be a fascilitator. And with his various injuries to start his career, it's taken him longer to hone his game in the NBA. But he's got to get on the fast track.

It would be a good thing (and might not be so far fetched) that Romeo develops into Ron Harper's role with Bulls. A tall PG who isn't required to do much (Harper had #23 and #33 to shoulder most of the offensive initiation, and Romeo will have Tatum and Jaylen). Just use his height to defend smaller PG's, take care of the ball, keep the ball moving around, do the little things, hit jumpers, that's about it.
