Romeo Langford flashed at times in the playoffs. Has he finally found his footing, and can he be a positive contributor as a starter?
If he can, that would allow Jaylen to play SF, Tatum to be at the 4, with RWill manning the 5.
That's some good defense right there.

Between Romeo, Nesmith and possibly Fournier, we should be able to find someone to start with JB, JT and RWill. Fournier is probably the best player right now, but he might be more valuable as a bench player.
There's a tiny part of me that wonders if Romeo could be a big PG - or at least a combo guard like DJ and Ainge were.

RWill is so injury prone...so lets not hastily pencil this in.
Romeo is also injury prone...
If those guys can stay on the court then perhaps we can talk about them being part of the future squad.
We also can't forget that Jaylen at the 2 and Jayson at the 3 has often given opposing teams a matchup nightmare because they're bigger but don't sacrifice any speed or agility with their size.

Agree 100% about the health of Romeo and RWill. In fact, in my mind next season is their last chance to show they can stay healthy. If they can't we have to move on.
In any case, SG is the least of our problems. We need a floor general and another big man.

My hope for Romeo is he cuts his teeth as a successful 3-D guy next season. And I have faith that he can and will do it.

I'd love it if Romeo can hit the 3 consistently, but I believe his strength will always be slashing to the hoop.

I don't know, what little I saw of him I'm the playoffs, he looked like a boy trying to play among men. There were times he looked absolutely silly with terrible turnovers and to me looked like he had no feel for the game at all. He is a multi year project at best. I will be shocked if he us able to be a real contributor for this team. I hope I am wrong.

Unfortunately he has never been healthy long enough to really develop under game conditions. Brad clearly trusted him on D and he finally started to hit some 3s. I was always impressed by his ability to get into the lane but he hasn't shown the ability to finish once he's there. I think at this point he's mostly "potential". But that is more than several other guys on the roster.
