Top lottery picks I would worry about

Maybe Jalen Suggs isn't dynamic enough to carry a franchise -- but he sure is solid enough to be a good bet to be a good player. I can't say the same for Jalen Green. Amazing athleticism and hops, and if he can tighten his handles and learn to think the game, he might be in some highlight reels.

But I don't like his shooting form, don't know if he'll get it workable, and thus I don't think he'll be enough of a perimeter threat to maximize his driving and attacking skills. I think Jalen Green will be a disappointment.

Another guy I'm worried about in Jaden Springer, though I have slightly more hope for him. Springer's issue for me is he's an athlete more than a basketball player. But I believe he's been a football prospect in high school, and only now is devoting himself to basketball. But I'm still hesitant on him.

I can see that argument with Suggs. Dude's floor is incredibly high though. He's gonna be a winner in this league.

I'm really intrigued by Scottie Barnes. If he can get even an average jumper, he is gonna go places. Kid is so talented, and he goes all out.

Love Barnes. His intensity is a notch below KG's (which means it's darn high). Yeah, his shooting is a real concern -- he's similar to Ben Simmons.

I wonder if down the road Barnes will be big enough to play the 5 in today's NBA. My goodness he would be a weapon playing the 5.

Doubt it. Even a full time 4 is a stretch.

But there's no way we get Barnes.

Jonathan Kuminga worries me as well. Not instinctual -- his moves seem calculated. Can be a good player, but I don't think he's suited to be the best player on his team.
