I think we’ll finish the season with a pick somewhere between 21 - 25. And in that area, I anticipate there will be prospects who have slid, as well as projected second rounders who worked their way up to the late first.
Occassionally, gems can be found in the late first, but you’re likely to swing and miss than to actually connect on a superstar. I’m more interested in getting a solid piece who will be a positive contributor.
Hoping we get Franz Wagner.
6’9” and quite versatile. Really a team first guy. Grabs a rebound and immediately looks to fastbreak and find teammates. Understands the game and makes right plays. Intuitive and skilled.
So why isn’t he mocked higher? Because he’s a glue guy and not a high potential player. Much like Pritchard.
I’ll list other players I hope will he available where we pick, but he’s at the top of my wishlist.

Seeing that we're picking 16, that won't be a late first round pick.
If if if Scottie Barnes slides that far, Fresh and I will race to the podium and make the pick for Brad.
But in all likelyhood, he'll be long gone. In which case I'd like to go with a potential impact big man, and that'll be Day'Ron Sharpe. Need to find the right developmental coach who can bring out the best in him, but I think he's already an upgrade over Robert Williams.

I wonder if we could package smart + 16 to get The wolves pick from the warriors (prolly in the 7-8) range

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl took a step forward in his second year at Villanova. A bit undersized at 6'8", but rock solid. I think of him as a shorter Al Horford.
Focused, disciplined, smart, thinks the game through, versatile, skilled.
I put him in the mix at 16.

I think Brad and Co. will avoid a wing in the draft. With Tatum and Brown being All-Star level wings, and with Romeo and Nesmith showing potential and needing playing time, we're already crowded there.
So bigs and PG is where I think we'll target.
I like Pritchard, but if we can nab someone potentially better, we have to do it.
I like what I see from Jared Butler -- got a lot of Kyle Lowry in his game. Great ball handler, excellent perimeter shooter, can attack the paint, and is a sturdy defender. He's 6'2", which isn't short, but I wonder if Brad wants to go taller at the Point?

My realistic draft wishlist is to grab Cory Kispert and Jordan Hall.
Kispert is the aggressive sharp shooter we need to keep defenses from doubling Tatum. And Hall, I think, has the goods and the makeup to be our future starting 6'8" PG.
