It’s only a matter of time before Bradley Beal is traded out of WAS. His oncourt body language was a statement to his management that he is done playing for that organization.
As Danny never leaves stones unturned, our name will likely be included among Beal’s possible destinations (plus, Beal and Tatum are St. Louis buds).
Adding another high scoring perimeter player could work if Tatum-Jaylen-Beal can mesh and perform like a well oiled machine. But it can kind of further make us unbalanced (having no real inside threat).
Would it be wiser to pursue a stud big man instead Beal? Or can Beal be that final star player we need to truly contend?

Is there any way we could get Beal without giving up Brown? I don't think so. And I wouldn't trade Jaylen for Beal - as good as Beal is.
I think a big man is both a better fit for us, and more likely than Beal.

I'd love Beal. If we could somehow make it work without moving the J's, you gotta do it.

If we keep the J's, the only two ways I can think of are 1) move Kemba (which I don't think WASH would do) or 2)get him for the trade exception if WASH is in salary dump mode.

I think it would have to be a multi-way trade where teams give us picks for Smart and kemba, then we flip those picks (plus picks of our own and/or young talent) to washington. even with that, it's hard to imagine some team not offering something better.

Late to the party but my 2 cents is that Beal won't mesh well with the Js. Vucevic is the key!
