I don't think Oladipo has proven he's healthy yet, so I'd have to say Hield. Plus, he's a better shooter. If we're building around Tatum, we need to surround him with shooters.

Only thing is, Oladipo is the better overall defender. But I’ve liked Hield since college, so I’m in on him. He’s a big scorer, and I think he can play off of Tatum.

If you had the choice between acquiring Oladipo or Buddy Heild, who wouod you choose? and why? I'd want Hield. They're the exact same age. Hield gets paid about 4mill more, and I think that's actually good in terms of wanting a high salary cap and having high paid assets to trade for high paid assets if needs be. His shooting is significantly better, and I think he would fit what we do better. I think he'd be more likely to accept a role as #3 guy than VO. VO had a taste of #1 guy until he got hurt and will want that back. Also, after seeing Pritchard play the other night I think it's clear the need for a point guard or combo guard is not as high as we feared it would be, at least this year. Hield has been healthier in his career, and I think part of that is his play being safer. If VO has another major injury I'm not sure what happens to him, where as if Hield had one he'd still be a shooter.
