Who has the higher upside — Nesmith or Pritchard?

Nesmith has better physical tools. Nesmith is a better shooter. Both are hard workers and play with a lot of energy. Pritchard is ahead in knowledge of the game, having played 4 years in college, buy I think Nesmith has the higher upside.

I’d say that Pritch has the higher floor and Nesmith has the higher ceiling. Both have situational awareness. When they receive the ball, they already have an idea of what to do.

I'm getting pretty nervous about Nesmith not getting any meaningful playing time and Pritchard, Grant Williams, and Semi all playing over him. I assume he is getting crushed in practice and/or not picking up the defense. I heard he was such a good shooter. I heard he was so smart and coachable. Add to this Romeo Langford not showing a lot and I'm starting to wonder what's going on

It's early. We have to remember that there was no summer league and limited pre-season. I'm not concerned that any rookie isn't playing a lot yet. To me it's more impressive that Pritchard IS playing than that Nesmith ISN'T.

Pritchard again had some moments that he looked nothing like a rookie playing in his 2nd real professional game. Drove into the paint, felt for a soft spot and then decisively pulled up for an easy 10 footer. Cool, calm and collected.

It could also be thst Danny told Brad to play guys like Semi and Carson who are borderline NBA players to try to build some trade value for them. Neither is part of a long term solution and are guys we need to use as filler for trade(s) that can net us players who are.

Our roster is still too full with so so players who duplicate others. At some point we’ll have to upgrade our bench depth.

Perk is making the point that it's good for the Celtics that PP will now be on opposing scouting reports. It should open things up a bit

Great game for PP. 13 pts on 5-5 shooting. Celtics have some really nice depth at PG now with Teague and PP.

And it doesn’t seem odd to see Pritch go for 13 — like it’s almost expected out of him. Definitely not over his head.

And he's got great range on the 3. Some of those makes must have been 3-4 feet behind the line.

Would it surprise you that Pritch is among the team leaders in bench minutes played?
Or that in the closing seconds of the Pacers game, Pritch was on the floor?
To me, this doesn’t say how weak our bench is, but how surprisingly prepared Pritch is for a rookie.

I guarantee Tommy loves Pritchard and is yelling "Watch the little guy!" at Dennis Johnson and KC Jones every opportunity he gets
