I write this a couple of days after Luka posted a 43 point, 17 rebound, 13 assist stat line in Dallas's playoff OT win over the Clippers, punctuated by Luka's buzzer-beating 3 to win the game. For a while I've found him to be the most intriguing NBA player to watch. He's not my favorite player, but he may be the most fascinating. He's not the biggest, strongest, or quickest guy, but he uses his vision, sense of where everyone is and general smarts to create good shots for himself and his teammates. He's tough and he's competitive. In some ways he reminds me of Larry. I was going to post something about Luka anyway, and then I saw this article and decided now was the time: www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29728195/nba-playoffs-why-luka-doncic-getting-compared-lebron-magic-birdHave you folks been watching him at all?

He's been fun. I like "unathletic" guys (who obviously are athletic) like him who just seem ahead of the game in their decisions/moves. I think what Steve Nash said was interesting - that he's the most polished/best 20 year old the NBA has ever seen (I assume he's excluding defense).
There's been a lot of young guys taking the bubble playoffs by storm. The Jazz/Nuggets series has Murray and Mitchell trading 50 point games on each other which is kind of crazy.
