Even Brad confirms that if we do anything, it’ll be minor. And I don’t think that’s wrong. Our top 5 is possibly the best in the league when healthy and humming. And our bench (or players from 6-10) is making strides — Kanter and Theis are solid, GWill and Semi have stepped up their games, and Wanamaker is capable.
And Danny seems enthused about Robert Williams’ return, and what he’ll contribute.
If we do make a move at the deadline, it’ll probably be to add a more offensive minded player who can help score off the bench.

It depends on what our ultimate goal is for this season. If nothing is done then our best case scenario is getting waxed by the Bucks again in the ECF's if we are on the other side of the bracket. If we aren't then it will be another second round butt whipping like last year. They are way too deep for us to be competitive in a seven game series against them. On the other hand if we are not really caring about this year and have next year as the year we try to take a shot at the Finals, then it isn't bad if we stay where we are at.

I say it's perfect if we do nothing, in terms of trades, because I don't think there's anything out there that makes too much sense unless you're willing to part with Hayward. Might as well see what the young guys can do. We said during our weaker stretch that the reality is that this team and our young all-stars might not be good enough yet. However, I'd liked to be proven wrong and they certainly look intriguing when fully healthy and Smart gets less shots as a result.
I do agree that the Bucks are definitely the team to beat, regardless.

We’re not going to stop Giannis, so the thing to do is limit the surrounding Bucks players (tightly guard the 3’s) and we have to full throttle our offense.
This means we need more scoring production from the bench. Right now, aside from Smart and Kanter, we don’t really know who’s going to come out and look to score. That’s why it’d be nice to go get a legit scoring threat. Wonder if IT is available 😊

By the way, Brad has stressed multiple times that if we do make a (minor) trade, it’ll be to improve the team, reiterating this is the aim and goal, as if to remind himself, and possibly thise who might end up being traded, that you can’t take this personal.
I don’t believe I ever heard Brad say this, at least outside of closed doors. Maybe he’s stressing this point to prepare Semi, or Poirier (or anyone outside our top 5) that basketball is a business, and Danny’s job is to deliver a contender.

The read was like two players were traded, and one heard first on social media. I am speculating that Brad really loves everyone on this year's team, unlike last year.

Brad is that type of genuine person who really cares about his players. I’m sure it hurts him when someone gets traded. So he has to keep saying it over and over that if a trade happens, it’s to improve the team.

Philly just traded 3 second round picks for both Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson from the Warriors. I’m sure if Danny wanted either of those guys, he could have easily trumped that package. So that tells us that Danny has other players in mind.
Who can Danny trade for who will be an instant upgrade over Wanamaker, GWill, Semi and Javonte?

Those moves do little, IMO, to move the needle but Philly are desperate for some help outside of their main players. I'm more concerned with the moves Miami are maybe making if they get Iggy and Danilo. That'd be a nice addition for them.

Maybe Ainge is banking on GWill’s growth and improvement to continue on into the playoffs. And that he, Kanter, Smart and Wanamaker as the core bench players, will be enough. Maybe that’s why we’re not making any moves at the deadline.

What I heard is that since the Cavs traded for Drummond that they are likely to buy out Thompson and Boston would be the front runner to sign him.
