Al needs to continue as the starter and the offense needs to run through him. He needs 15 shots a game. and if he gets double or is not open then give the ball to Pierce and Davis. The celtics need to start playing an inside out game. They are not going to win shooting jumpshots. Al commands a double everytime he gets the ball, so does Paul Pierce, The other team cant double Ricky when Al and Pierce are on the floor. Delonte can get any shot he wants when Pierce, Jefferson and Davis are on the floor. Another thing that upsets me is Doc Rivers talks about Jefferson not being a good defender and thats why he didnt start, Well looking at the stats the only big guy playing defense is Perkins and he only gets 15 minutes per game. Blount plays horrible defense and doesnt rebound. Jefferson may not be a great defender but at least he makes up for that with effort. He blocks shots, rebounds, and can score at will. Also i have to say Delonte is playing great, he is not a pure point guard but he is scrappy, he hustles, doesnt turn the ball over can shoot and plays good team defense. His only weakness right now is guarding quick point guards like Tony Parker, Billups etc. Other than that we have a very good player. Great find by Ainge.

Yep, Jefferson needs to get touches in the post a lot more. 15 touches or more is what I'd like to see.
Doc needs to forget about winning this year and just let the young guys develop. Sure Jefferson will struggle and he'll mess up, but the only way to develop him and increase his experience is to keep playing him lots of minutes.
