I am so tired of an 8 point lead against the Celtics being the safest lead in sports.
You would think someone along the lines of Jayson Tatum would see the mismatch between him and Mikal Bridges and go out there and totally dominate him. But no. Let him get 25 points of course.
How incredibly lazy does this team need to be to blow a historic night by Smart?
Smart's always working. The rest are coasting.

We need guys that don't play with a smile when you're down 12 at home. We need a coach that takes guys like that off the court

The issue is the roster construction. BOS has no depth, hence one of the worst benches in the NBA.

We need to build some. Enes was useless last night and Grant Williams was worse than useless. They should send Grant down to the G League and call up Tacko. Give him some experience

I'm starting to think Grant has no position in this league. He looks so small inside against almost everyone.

We have a major lack of shooting off the bench.
Semi should probably never see the floor if we had a decent bench.

We need players who play smash mouth basketball — guys who take it right at opposing teams (and are successful). We need players with this kind of mentality.

Langford has shown, in very few opportunities, the ability to get into the lane and score. He's not super quick, or flashy, but like GH when he's playing well, he changes pace and creates space for himself. He's also shown good defensive instincts, so I'm a little puzzled about why we don't see more of him.

I am speculating without facts that he has an above average wingspan.

I've read that his wingspan is 6'11".

And along with that 6’11” wingspan is his ability to get to the rim and finish with excellent touch.

And also, get deflections and block shots. I love "long" players. I think wingspan is an underrated attribute.
