Preseason ranking had Milwaukee and Philadelphia fighting for the top spot, with us and the Pacers battling it out for 3rd and 4th place finishes.
After the first 3 weeks of the season, we are sitting at the top — not only of the East, but of the entire league. Meanwhile, Milwaukee and Philly are 4th and 10th.
Kris Middleton is injured and will miss 3-4 weeks (he’s the 2nd most important player the Bucks have), and Philly will be without Ben Simmons for maybe another couple of games, as he suffered a sprain in his shoulder. For a guy who was reluctant to shoot the ball even before his injury, this will probably make him even less willing to attempt a 3 pointer.
