Out for, I’m guessing 6-8 weeks because of a fractured on his non-shooting hand (looked like a harmless screen by Aldridge that Hayward semi ran into — just hard luck).
As always, look for the positives (no use crying over what happened). Next man up. I’d think Tatum and Jaylen will have to shoulder more responsibility, maybe Romeo gets called up and fills in here and there.

Yeah, could have been worse. It really stinks for Gordon, who was finally back to his all-star form, but at least it shouldn't be season-ending and it may wind up strengthening the bench.

The way Jaylen has been playing this season, and especially the way he balled tonight, Jaylen will get a grand opportunity to showcase his redefined game in the absence of Hayward.
This will be a good time to see what this team is made of. It’s arguable that Hayward is the MVP of the team, and to lose him is a chance to see how well we can adjust to, and overcome adversity.

Hayward opted to have surgery on his hand. Brad says surgery might speed up the recovery time. A return date should become available after the surgery is completed.

Hayward will be out 6 weeks.
I just hope for 2 things: 1) we will continue to play winning ball in his absence, and 2) his return will be seamless and cement us a true title contender.
