16-5 now, a quarter way into the season. Anyone care to increase their win total prediction? We've played a schedule of average difficulty (see this: www.espn.com/nba/stats/rpi/_/sort/SOS ), including games vs PHI, MIL, TOR, MIA, LAC, DEN twice, DAL - many of the league's best teams. And we played the last 13 games without Gordon, going 9-4. Is 60 wins out of the question? I don't think so.

I say we win at least 60. This team is like most Brad Stevens teams (not last year's) in that they bring it almost every night, and they've shown they can weather the loss of one of their prime scorers for an extended period. Plus, the Garden has returned to being a great 6th man. That place is rocking now. I think for the great majority of the time we'll beat the teams we're supposed to beat and hold our own against the best teams.

How many games do we win at the Garden?

37. Not many teams are capable of coming in here and beating us.

We're 10-1 against below .500 teams and I expect that trend to continue.
We're 6-4 against teams above .500 and, other than the loss to philly, the other 3 losses were by 5 points or less.
I think 60 is a good possibility considering how lack of dependency on any one guy night in and night out plus the fact that we seem to be consistent with effort on D.

This team is:
- different from last year’s team - really good
Even with a slew of injuries to key personnel, and in spite of being young, we are a very good team. It feels good to go into games against sub .500 teams and just cooly know we’re going to make a run and bury them. And to play against playoff teams and know there’s a good chance we win.
It wasn’t like that last year.
Even if we go 16 - 17 the rest of the way, we’ll still finish with 50 wins (1 more win than last year’s record).

60 now seems like a reach, but not impossible. We went through one really rough patch that will make it harder, but if we can ever get healthy going 25-7 the rest of the way isn't crazy.

I just want 56 to give Brad his best record and it will be without Cryire and Average Al.

To get to 60 wins, we’d need to go 23 - 7 the rest of the way.
Going 20 - 10 will give us 57 wins (this is not too fat fetched).
I think we can comfortably go 18 - 12 the rest of the way, giving us 55 wins. Not too bad, considering we lost Kyrie, Horford, Baynes and Mook (all guys who played big minutes and important roles).

Extrapolating our current record of 37-15 over a full 82 game season, we'd finish with 58.4 wins, rounded down to 58. I don't know if it's reasonable to expect better health than we've had so far, but if we do somehow manage to stay healthier, another couple of wins is within reach. Given that the [HASH]2 seed is definitely worth striving for, I don't expect any coasting or resting key players unless and until our playoff seed is locked in.

With our really tough stretch of upcoming games against Western playoff teams, let’s hope we’re still on pace for 55 wins when it’s over.

If we take our win percentage for the season (.667), and apply it to a normal 82 game year, you get 55 wins. Our preseason predictions were pretty close.
I don't know for how many games we had everyone healthy and dressed, but it seems there weren't that many. I think we're better than a typical 55 win team.
