I agree with the sentiment of Tremont Waters performance. Hoping he got some good burn in the g-league or possibly get up to the nba roster if they Wannamaker isn't cutting it.

Waters is on a two-way contract, which limits him to 45 days on the Celtics roster - unless they make room for him and convert his contract to a regular NBA contract.
Here's what Brad had to say about him:
“He’s just good,” Stevens said. “I don’t what else to say. He’s got a shiftiness to his game that’s unique. His brain moves as fast as his feet. He really sees the game and sees what’s going on. So yeah, he’s played well. Ever since he did a draft workout, we were all just kind of blown away.
“You look at a guy that size [5 feet 11 inches, 175 pounds] and you’re trying to figure out how he can do it and he just does it all the time. He’s off to a good start.”
It's amazing to me that teams in every sport continue to overlook guys who lack the classic size for their position - even though they get results. I love our rookie backcourt of Edwards and Waters and hope to see a lot of them together this year. Both SECOND ROUNDERS!

Max Strus has been waived. I liked that guy but decisions are decisions. It's not the end of the world for him at all. He could easily be a D League all star and get signed/called up

You’re not going to see much from your 15th man anyways. I guess if it came down to it, in a pinch are you looking for a 3pt marksmen, or an athletic defender/slasher? Since we have lots of shooters, might be better to go defensive.

Hard to argue with this decision. I'm glad we get to keep both Tacko and Green.

I think they made the right decisions. Glad to be keeping Tacko and we get to see him develop. Another team would have scooped him up if they let him go. Also I think Greene did more in preseason and summer league to win that last spot than Strus did. I agree that you go for defense/slashing over a streak shooter.

Heard that Ainge says Javonte reminds him of Tony Allen.

Yes. Here's the quote: "Ainge has told Green they view him in the mold of former Celtics guard Tony Allen or Clippers guard Patrick Beverley, two defensive-minded, relentless pests who make life miserable for opponents."
