Two unproven guys whose main cards are shot blocking and lob dunks will be competing for minutes in back of Kanter. Lob Williams and Vincent Poirier, while not ready for prime time minutes will have to learn on the job because we’re really thin upfront.
Poirier has the height advantage (he’s about 7’ while Lob is a 6’10”), while Williams is as explosive as they come.
Who plays more minutes?

I think right off the bat it’ll be Poirier, and he’ll remain above Lob Williams the entire season. My reasoning is Poirier appears to be more seasoned than Lob — not just in experience, but as far as knowing what to do on the court.
Maybe Lob has more exciting blocked shots and a higher rebounding rate, but Poirier seems to me will be a better positional defender and offensive screener.
