Yes!!!!! And I say that emphatically, not because I'm a Clippers' fan, but because Kawhi signed there and not with the Lakers!!!
I would have cheered about his signing wherever he decided on, as long as it wasn't with Lebron.
Edit -- and Paul George is being traded to the Clippers as well!! Wow, the Clips just might be my 2nd favorite team!

And the Fakers spent 15M of their 32M in cap space on Danny Green, another 8M on KCP and 4M on Shaqin a Fool. That team is no better than 6th in the West in their best case scenario. I see the Clippers, Jazz and Blazers as the class of the West now. The Nuggets are just behind them on the second tier, and oh yea you still have the Rockets even if CPKnee is destroying that team from within like he did in NO and LAC before.
So you have a broken down Warriors team, an very improved Kings and Mavs along with what is left of the Thunder with the Fakers competing for three playoff spots.
The report is that they will start MgGee at Center so their starting lineup looks like LeFlop as the PG, Green, Kuzma, and AD. That isn't very scary at all and with the injury issues that will likely be an issue for LeFlop as he turns 35 in December and AD is also always hurt, depending on how much time they miss, they could miss the playoffs again and that would be glorious.

Danny passed on Kawhi, because he was a 1-year rental.

Yeah, I'm relieved that the Lakers didn't create a James, AD, KL threesome. Even given age and injury, that would have been a tough team to beat.
I have to admit that I didn't follow the Clips too closely last year, but KL and George are a helluva core. Doc should have some fun this year.

Yup, no one had a clue what Leonard was doing. Wasn't it like 3 days ago everyone in ESPN was saying it was the Lakers or maybe the Raptors and that the Clippers were out?
Never expected the Paul George angle. Good for Doc and it'll be fun if the reject LA team beats the Lakers/Lebron to the title. Imagine trying to dribble against a team with Beverly, Leonard, and George able to hound you? Oh boy.

Yes it was Broussard saying that Kawahi wanted the Fakers but was only hesitant because he didn't know if he would fit in with the diva's on the Fakers. But as always you can't trust anything him or Nick Wright say about LeFlop because of their man crush on him.

Now the Fakers got Cousins and Rondo on minimum deals. That is going to be one hell of drama filled locker room.

There wasn't a market for Cousins (Miami was the only other team considering him even on a minimum deal) because of his injuries and his attitude so he is nothing more than a role player now after his Achilles injury, which isn't surprising for a guy of his size. Rondo is just trying to extend his career by a year and I feel bad for Vogel trying to get all of these guys to get on the same page.

Vogel is merely a figure head without any power — I predict Lebron and Rondo will brush him off in the huddle many times throughout the year.

I may be in the minority but I think the Rondo and Cousins signings are huge. I think in this special case, the coach isn’t necessarily a major piece. The players will hold each accountable when you got big stars like that. Again, injuries will tell the Lakers’ story more than anything

I am very happy. No super team for the Lakers and Toronto goes down a few notches. Plus Clippers can continue being the best team in LA.
