Is there enough playing time for all three of these wings to maximize their talents? All 3 are natural small forwards, which means they’ll at times need to play out of position by playing some at off guard and power forward.
Being a smart facilitator, we should put the ball into Hayward’s hands more — but by doing that, we put Tatum back into the ineffective role he was in this past season. Which means Tatum absolutely needs to learn the art of moving without the ball — can he do this?
Jaylen adjusted his role the second half of the year (and I applaud him for that), and became a good kickout 3pt threat for us. He knows, and we know, he’s more than just that — so how does Brad incorporate Jaylen more into the offense, and tap into his scoring ability, knowing that by focusing on implementing him means taking the ball out of Gordon’s and Tatum’s hands (both guys are better facilitators than Jaylen)?
Each guy should be playing near 30 minutes per game. Not sure if Brad can manage to do this, while maximizing their contribution to the team’s success.

Now that we know the outcome of the AD sweepstakes, and both Tatum and Jaylen are still with us, this question needs to be asked again. How are we going to maximize the talent and minutes of these 3 wing players?
Is Jaylen going to come off the bench? Is Tatum going to start at PF? Can Haywad guard 2’s?

There are 96 minutes per game just in the wing (SG and SF) positions. Brad doesn't like to play anyone much more than 32 minutes per game (96/3) so just in terms of total minutes I don't see a problem. Can they all be on the court at the same time? I think so, though I wouldn't be surprised if Hayward continues to come off the bench and run the offense.
We haven't really seen what kind of chemistry Brown, Tatum, Horford and Hayward have without Kyrie. With Al and Gordon being such good passers I would expect good ball movement. Also a better understanding of roles. And without a self-appointed "leader", a more team-oriented attitude.
Those three will be fine. I'm more concerned with who runs the point and what Robert Williams can do to help this year.
Maybe we start Hayward with brown and Tatum and forgo a traditional pg (sort of like the Bulls when they started Harper jordan and pippen). Would mean more passing and less one guy dribbling and the ball handling can be shared.

I thought about this, but wonder how it would work defensively. Between Hayward and Tatum, who would cover SGs?

If we go into the season with the 3 of them, I see Hayward and Tatum being the focal point of the offense, and Jaylen being the complementary piece. Hayward and Tatum stagger running the pick and roll with Horford because they are likely to create plays for themselves and others, and Jaylen continues to excel at the 3-D role, and add more slashing and free lancing to his game.

I definitely want Hayward shooting more. Tatum needs to work moving without the ball. Brown needs to continue improving his handles. Regardless, I see this team as multiple 15-18 scorers, perhaps a titch more.

Do we now ask Hayward if he would like to leave also? Do him the right thing by not having to go through a youth movement.

No. It's not like we're going to be the Phoenix Suns, drafting in the top 5 for year after year. Brown will be entering his 4th year, Tatum his third. These guys are young but they're not THAT young. We have plenty of talent to be a playoff team, and if Al leaves, as now looks possible, we have some cap space and a bunch of draft picks this year, and in the near future. I still expect us to be good, and with the pressure of trade rumors off JT and JB, and with Irving and Horford gone, we may see them really take off as it will be "their team".

You know, I have a calm feeling that next year, we’re going to be alright. Get into the playoffs as a 5th or 6th seed and display to the world that Tatum is a top 15 guy in the East.

Too early to have a real feel for next year, because we don't know who fills out the roster, but I feel the same way. I don't mind a young team that is building towards something and still makes the playoffs.
