YES.
I think back to that trade and get pissed that we didn't do it. If we were not resigning Toine anyway then we should have traded for the Baron.
Actually, I believe the trade was:
Payton, Googs, Yogi, Allen, first round pick
for
Baron Davis
We actually did the same trade minus Allen for Toine and resigned Gary.
Both are now gone.

Troy Hudson in Minnesota should be available since they brought in Marco Jaric.......
That is a legitimate opportunity for us.........
Banks, RD, and Blonut for Kandi-!!!GREENIAC!!! and Troy Hudson.

No to Troy Hudson. He and Tyrone Lue are 2 guys that just rub me the wrong way.

Troy Hudson is Minny's Mark Blount. We definately dont want him. He is a point guard in size only. Hes not a real PG by any stretch of the imagination. Id still like to move blount for Kandi. In all actuality, I wouldnt mind moving all of the vets, if we can get something in return. However, I cant think of any realistic PP trade scenario taht makes sense since the predraft portland rumors.

I'd keep on pace with DW for now. I don't see the need to trade for the PG especially with DW improving every game.

I am not a fan of Hudson's either. Definitely not for that package. He is a shoot first point guard. Something we definitely do not need, and I wouldn't trade Ricky for him no way.
I agree with JHVOS though. It seems like Delonte is WAY more comfortable since coming back from that concussion. He had 19 and 7 last night, and shot the ball extremely well. Another good game. If he keeps it up, maybe we will need to see what we have in him.
Right now, he is playing better than Billups when we had him, and Chauncey was never a true point guard, and now he is averaging 8.6 assists per game, number 3 in the league. Billups had to learn the position coming out of college, so it is not out of the question that Delonte can learn the position as well. The last 3 games he has progressed steadily. If he keeps playing like he has been playing the point guard spot may be solidified. This talk is still a bit premature, but I hope Delonte keeps it up.
Although, if we were to aquire a top flight point guard I would not complain.

I agree that Delonte is looking better as he gets more comfortable and he's looking more confident out there. I'd still like to get a PG like Baron Davis, a guy who can create shots for others and himself, but I won't jump off a cliff if Delonte is our PG, at least for now.
