Got this from Inside Hoops:
This confirms that Blount is available but that even the Nets don't want him even though they are very anxious to get a big.

Nets needs a big who can rebound not take 15 foot jumpes all day. That's why they aren't interested in Blount. Not to mention holding onto his contracts for the next 5 years when he's at the tender age of 30.

If there's a way we can swap Blount for Chris Kaman, that would be an awesome Christmas present (as if hearing that Blount is indeed on the trading block wasn't enough ;D).
I wonder which other team we can dump Blount onto?

Even if we package Blount, we still need another center. Perks can't play 40 minutes a game. However, I would like to see AJ play center. As an experiment.

Blount to Minny for Olakandi straight up would be nice. The benny being that Olakandi is on a contract year. Minny gets a nice scoring center option and a player who frankly needs a fresh situation.

Kandi for what he is worth, is one of the worst #1 picks ever in the NBA.

Kandi for what he is worth, is one of the worst #1 picks ever in the NBA. Yeah, I know that but this is simply a cap savings for the Celtics. RD and Reaf to Indiana for Artest and Croshere is another thought provided we give Indiana a future 1st round pick (top 10 protected of course).

I like that deal in principle, but Artest's character doesn't fit in w/ the team.

Keep in mind that Ainge prefers instigators. That's one of the things he mentioned he wanted in players this offseason. Artest is certainly an instigator.
I don't know if Ainge would want to trade Pierce to an eastern conference foe, especially the Pacers, who have eliminated us the past 2 playoffs. But maybe a 3-team deal, where we get Artest, Pierce goes to the West, and maybe Peja goes to Indiana (as an example).
