Assuming the Bucks do the expected and eliminate the Pistons, we’re going to need to be at our best in order to take care of business against Milwaukee.
We need to attack them from the perimeter, because with Giannis and Lopez congesting the paint, we’re not going to have a field day driving inside. We’ve already seen how hard it was scoring inside against Myles Turner.
Just before the playoffs started, Jaylen was doing a lot of damage from the 3pt line. Hoping he can find that touch again. We’re going to need Mook and Rozier making more than they miss from beyond the arc too. 20 - 3pt makes is the magic number, IMO.
And this will be a great time for Hayward and Tatum to emerge as consistent 20 pt threats.

Ringing endorsement by Scot Pollard, former Celtic and Fresh’s man crush:
“If you don’t think the @celtics are coming out of the east I’ve got news for you: They are. Didn’t even have a good series and swept the Pacers. Hayward peaking at the right time. Looking at ease, finally, on that formerly bad wheel. The pieces are falling into place”
I like that part he says that we didn’t have a good series and we still swept the Pacers. Brad and the players share the same sentiment, that we can play better.

My take on round 2, assuming it is MIL. 3pt percentage. Staying somewhere at the regular season, or a titch above. MIL is a very good shooting % team, however from 2pt.

Seems like manority of folks are in favor of Milwaukee moving past us. Let’s prove them all wrong.
Let’s see if Coach Brad has been saving Semi all season for this matchup with Giannis.
Let’s see Jaylen smother Kris Middleton on defense.
Let’s see if Rozier can get into Bledsoe’s head and make him remember last postseason.
Let’s see if Milawakee can defend Kyrie, Hayward, Tatum and Horford.

I am not expecting the Legend of Semi versus Giannis. However, I do not Giannis is 2018 Lebron mode and a healthy Irving, and Hayward have arrived.

I expect a long series, but since we have to win at least one in MIL I'd prefer we get it early. 7th games on the road rarely end well.

Chris Broussard thinks Bucks in 6, maybe 5. That makes confident we’ll win this series.

Granted, the Bucks have Giannis, a true contender for the best player in the NBA. And they had the best tecord in the league, with 60. But I still like our chances beating MIL.
Remember that when Mike Budenholzer coached the Hawks in ‘15, he won 60 games with them, and lost to CLE in the ECF. They were a very good and balanced team, but no one really thought they were genuine title contenders.
Now, this is a diffrerent team he’s coaching, and he’s got Giannis (hey, Budenholzer also had Paul Milsap, who was an All-Star under his watch). What I’m saying is Budenhozer is a 60 win coach who makes his players shine, but may not be enough of a coach to orchestrate his team to a title.
If our team finally has their head on straight, we can down the Bucks.

I think Giannis has to be amazing for MIL to beat us in a seven game series. If he's anything less I think we win. It all comes down to whether we can slow him down just enough to win. I don't think the rest of the Bucks can raise their games high enough to take us out.

I can live with Bledsoe having big games cause that’ll mean he’s taking away from Giannis or Middleton.

Colin Cowherd, I think, is one of the better radio talk show guys around. He gives reasons for what he believes. Of course he’s not always right, but most times he gives sound logic. And I’d venture to say he’s right more often than the others.
He thinks Boston in 6, while most talk radio guys pick the Bucks.
His reasons for picking us is we have an edge in tight games because we have one of the best closers in Kyrie who can get points under pressure, and because we have Brad Stevens, whom he holds in high esteem.

I think he has some good points. Giannis maybe the better player, over Kyrie however not as clutch. Also, Brad will find some ways to steal a few points as the master of the out of time out.

I liked Cowherd pointing out the anti Patriots bias with the laser thing in Kansas City. I also liked how he tried to lecture Baker Mayfield who totally owned him and was having none of it.
