Can anyone explain to me the interest in Wine, its taste, and how it's made? I think I read about how Lebron is obsessed with wine as well.
Otherwise, I agree - I find Pop interesting and he is clearly a great coach and a great man. That ceremony they had for Manu not that long ago was so wonderful and people understate how great of a player Duncan was - no ego, great player, great teammate. You usually only get to choose 2 of those 3 qualities in players nowadays.

I don't get the whole wine thing either, but I still found the article fascinating. I'll check out the Manu ceremony.

I don't know if you watch inside the NBA with Chuck, Shaq, and Kenny...but yesterday, Chuck had an interesting story about an interview he had with Pop back when Leonard was becoming a star and he asked Coach Pop when he knew Leonard became a "great" player and Pop said "When he learned that when I call a play for him it's for the Spurs to score, not him". I swear this man is able to shoot straight and keep it so simple. Him and Belichick are something great.

Just watched the Manu jersey retirement ceremony. Thanks for pointing me to it. The Spurs really do have something special down there.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4UYTAzOAWY7 months later and they have another wonderful ceremony for Tony Parker. Truly something special those 4 had (Parker, Duncan, Manu, Pop) and honestly going to be hard to replicate from the top of Org down to the players.

With Pop nearing retirement, and no young star player on their roster, this might be the end of he Spurs dynasty. Truly a world class organization.
