Most players are not the household names we hear on sports tv or read on mock drafts. But that doesn’t mean a few don’t have a chance to make a name for themselves in the NBA. One guy who probably won’t get drafted, or may get picked late in the second round is Aubrey Dawkins, and I’d snag him up if we have an opportunity to do that. He’s a springy 6’6” wing who is a fine shooter and scorer. We can use a knock down sniper like him off the bench. m.youtube.com/watch?v=k7YR6rwkooU

Justin Robinson, 5’8” PG m.youtube.com/watch?v=7E7wLC7EJmwHey, Danny took a chance on both Nate Robinson and Isaiah Thomas who are also 5’8” (as well as fellow short men Phil Pressey, and Shane Larkin, and Shammond Williams, etc.), so short guys do not bother him. Justin Robinson is as quick and darty as they come. Actually, he plays similar to IT4 (mimicking the way IT finishes his layups in traffic amidst his defender’s outstretched arms). Worth a look if he goes undrafted.

Harry Froling might not be drafted at all. But being that we worked him out privately tells me we have interest in this Aussie big man. Standing 6’11”, weighing 260 lbs, he’s got size to play Center, and he’s equipped with high BBIQ and a 3pt shot.

I just happened to stumble upon a highlight video of Creighton's Ty-shon Alexander, and I liked what I saw. 6'4" kid who has enough speed, fluidity, athleticism, ball handling, elevation on his jumps, and feel (as well as confidence) to play in the NBA.
What stood out was his shooting, especially midrange pull ups. Looks so comfortable shooting the ball. His shooting form and pocket is like second nature to him.
I'm surprised his shooting % is subpar because from the looks of it, he should be a plus shooter. Maybe it's a matter of getting him to take better shots, and less bad shots (Marcus Smart syndrome).
He looks like a decent scorer at the rim as well.

Charles Matthews is a 6'6" 2-guard for Michigan. And if there's one trait that stands out, it is his ability to get to the rim. His initial step is good, but it's his second and third steps that gains him separation from his defender, leaving him oftentimes uncontested at the rim. And the kid can jump!
His shooting % are not good, so I'm worried he'll be limited in his effectiveness.

Count me in for Corey Davis, a 6’1” combo guard from Houston. Sparkplug player who is explosive on both ends of the court. Plays aggressive defense like Marcus Smart (with as much fire and tenacity), but already a better jumper. Being 6’1” hurts his stock a bit, as does not having a natural position. Not sure where I’d draft him either. I’d take him at 22 for sure, but would love him at 51. m.youtube.com/watch?v=uAGhxPs3tP4

Nicolas Claxton is a very interesting prospect, one I might be tempted to snag, maybe even at 14 if I’m convinced his upside is attainable. He’s a tall and lanky 6’11”, and needs to put on muscle — but he plays like a wing player. Reminds me of a taller Brandon Ingram. Georgia Bulldogs even used him as a passer. Chris Clemons, 5’8” PG from Campbell. m.youtube.com/results?search_query=Chris+clemons+cambellWatch the video and tell me he’s not a right handed IT4. This kid can score, has deep range, a quick trigger, can drive in the paint and finish (or get to the line), and is fearless. Hey, if Danny uses pick 51 on him, I won’t be upset. Clemons has much greater potential than Marcus Thornton, whom Ainge drafted a few years ago.

This kid improved from a year ago. Looks to be more in control, and seems to see the floor better.

For me, Corey Davis Jr is the guy I’d like to get somehow in the second round. Poor man version of Donovan Mitchell.

Isaiah Roby — rather than write up a few sentences, I’ll just sum it il by saying Roby reminds me of a 6’8” version of Al Horford. I’d endorse him at 20 👍
