What are your thoughts on Westbrook?

Guy just posted a 20-20-21 stat line which is ridiculous. What's even more ridiculous is how poor he is shooting this year and yet he is still averaging 20ppg and a triple-double (for the third straight year!).

I personally love watching the Thunder with him in it. He's got so much energy and is electric. I was constantly shaking my head during the Russ/KD years because Russ was basically like Marcus Smart where he never saw a shot he didn't like even though he had Durant. Still, it makes it easier to stomach when they're not your favorite team.

I hear a lot about stat-stuffing which is definitely somewhat true if you watch him. Sometimes he's a little too pass-happy to get the 10th assist or exerting a lot of energy to get boards. However, how come there's not a single other player that is posting stats like this? It's not easy regardless if he's trying a little harder. I know he hasn't really won anything, but other than the year they blew the 3-1 lead to the Warriors, I don't think they were underachievers. I just lament what could've been if they found a way to keep Harden instead of Ibaka.

Sensational athlete and competitor. But you have to wonder if his style of play leads to championships? Sometimes, doing too much, at the expense of making the right play, is less impactful.

I don't think his triple double average is as impressive as it once was, but he's definitely one of the best players of his time. It also speaks to how horrible the underachievement of OKC was. They had him, Harden, Durant, and Serge all at the same time and couldn't win. That's just pathetic.
