Hayward's minutes has been rising, while Morris is sitting on the bench more -- and this is how it should be. Morris may have been a feel-good story early this season, but he's been disappointing for a while now.
Heading into the playoffs, I want to see Hayward being given more responsibility on offense. He and Horford are really good at doing the right things. Gordon can help alleviate the scoring pressure off of Kyrie's shoulders.

"He and Horford are really good at doing the right things."
I like that. Each of them almost always makes the right play, something rare on this team. If either has a flaw in his mental game it's being too reluctant to shoot at times, although they both seem to be getting more aggressive lately - a good thing. They showed a great graphic last night showing GH's shooting percentage going up every month for the last 4, and to my eye at least he seems to be moving a lot better. Maybe the old GH will show up in the nick of time.
Both are also very good playmakers - better than Rozier or even Smart. Morris is not a playmaker. Does he have an assist this season? ;} And his FG% has fallen way off since Nov/Dec. Maybe his legs are shot. He's said he has no problem going to the bench. Maybe it's time.
The biggest downside is losing GH as a playmaker on the second unit, but with there being no back-to-backs in the playoffs, we should expect Kyrie to play 40ish minutes per game, so maybe that isn't critical.

Everyone knows Brad has been forcing minutes to Hayward all year. Brad knows when Hayward contributes, it bodes well for BOS. Morris has not shot well since the all-star break. Injured, or leveling out from a hot start to the all-star break, not sure.

I'm excited for playoff rotations. I'm hoping less of our terrible three (in terms of shot choice and shooting percentage): Morris, Smart, Rozier and more of our trusted trio: Kyrie, Horford, Hayward. Just hope that Hayward has turned a corner and feels good heading into the playoffs.

Unfortunately Brad has a major man-crush on Smart and I don't see anything short of Danny trading Smart keeping him off the floor in crunch time.

Its like a player goes off, like Tatum or Brown in the half, then everyone else, like Morris or Rozier, thinks they need their shots.

That's one of the things that makes GS so tough. If Klay gets hot they keep feeding him the ball, even with "bigger" stars Curry and Durant on the court with him.

That one not so little tweak is litterally the difference between #18 and possibly losing as soon as the first round.

I agree that GS is special in that regard. Watching Durant just feed Curry or Klay when they get hot is the key (and vice-versa). Or how willing they are to let the same guy get the ball (even if he's having an off-night) simply because he has a good matchup advantage.
That's where Morris, Rozier, and Smart's poor decision making really kills. That's why Hayward's emergence will be great. I think he's a better playmaker and he's willing to give the right guy the ball. Getting him the ball more or running the offense through Horford more tends to lead to better plays/possessions. Kyrie has a lot of strengths, but he's not necessarily the best facilitator on the team.

With 5 games remaining in the regular season, yesterday's game marked the first time this year that Kyrie, Horford and Hayward each scored 20+ pts (according to Adam Himmelbach).
It took a long while, but this trio is finally healthy and playing together -- just in time for the playoffs.

If it’s any indication, we’ve played a lot better (recently), and Rozier and Morris have played lesser roles (and Jaylen has been out with injury). And Smart has taken less shots.
Maybe these are part of the reason why we’re doing better and look crisper?

Would anyone really be upset if Wanamaker took all of Rozier's minutes? He just seems solid to me.

Morris, or Rozier letting it loose, BOS is spotting the other team like half dozen or more baskets. Morris, his issue is shot selection when he gets the ball (he is too far out); Rozier, his issue is ISO in a crowd.
