I blame lack of team cohesion and not getting passing angles to get the ball into Jefferson who can play underneath.
And he is getting a lot better with his defense and combined with Perkins, the C's would be so much better.
Then again, I'm not the Coach of the Celtics.

This team needs a good coaching staff and a true PG. Just look at NO so far with Chris Paul. They're totally a different team with him and look like they have promise for the future. But that could change drastically in the next couple months.

Paul wouldn't have the same stats on a "better" team; however this team does need a true point guard.

I've been pondering if we'd be better off with a true floor general running the show and setting up our scorers (Pierce, Ricky, Jefferson) instead of the system we have set up right now where everyone on the court tries to set up each other. Notice how Pierce, Ricky, and Blount accumulate so many turnovers every game?--I think that would change if we stopped them from trying to be playmakers and instead, use them a whole lot more for their scoring abilities. We hardly run any plays which set them up for good open shots anymore and this has caused our offense to stall..

Ricky, and P2 shouldn't have the ball unless shooting. Same goes for Blount. Esp for Blount, he has hands of stone.

We are starting to revert back to isolation plays again. There will be times during games where we just hand the ball off to Pierce or Ricky and watch them work their magic. This is alright to do for parts of the game, but I know we'd be a lot more effective (and balanced) if we ran plays to set Pierce and Ricky up for good shots. It causes defenses to overplay them and that creates scoring opportunities for the rest of the team.
I'd much rather see Pierce score 19 ppg if it means 5 other guys scoring in double figures.
