Easy win against a bad team. Pretty much everyone played well except for Jaylen, who once again looked lost out there, shooting 2-12, and 0-5 on 3s. He's been so damn inconsistent and continues to struggle with when to pass, when to shoot, when to drive. We know he's not stupid, but at times he makes the dumbest choices. Then he gets his head straight for a couple of games and shoots 75%.
Meanwhile Marcus Morris, who many felt would be the one most likely to lose minutes with Hayward back, has been playing really well and really consistently. He even seems more emotionally stable this year. Last year I often felt he was always dancing on the edge of getting a technical. Maybe fatherhood has had a maturing influence on him.
Finally, Robert Williams, AKA The Time Lord, has become an instant folk hero at the Garden. 5 blocks in 16 minutes. Fun stuff.

I'd like to give Brown the benefit of the doubt after coming back from an illness, but Hayward did the same thing and looked good out there. It's these types of games that make me worried that Brown will never put it together and his offensive range/game is severely limited (which we kind of knew was his weakness coming in anyway). There's lots of guys in the league with great athleticism who can shoot the 3 well. It just looks like he decides what he'll do on a given play before the play starts and then is unable to be creative or divert from that plan. That doesn't work on this offense and really shouldn't be how you play the game. Then, other games he looks like he's on the verge of putting it all together. He's lucky we don't need him to take any large leaps - just to at least be consistent and play smart basketball.
On the flip side, Smart had 0 points and it doesn't really make a difference because he plays so well in the other facets of the game.
Morris has to go on the list of Ainge's great moves once again. I read lots of stuff about it being one of Ainge's misfires when it happened because Morris was a bit of a hog or doesn't fit into our sharing offense, but he's been so much better than I ever could imagine and I should admit I was never a fan of Bradley anyway.
I'm happy Williams is getting some run with Horford out. Not sure he has too many minutes with Horford in unless there's specific games against big guys, but he's fun to watch out there.

Jmost, thanks for getting the game thread up.
Runrondo - I would like Danny to write a book after he retires, Art of the Fleece! He trades Bradley for salary cap purposes, and somehow gets the best the player of the deal?
I really think Coach Stevens plays RW3 for bench excitement. The team goes crazy after a dunk, or a block.
