Any thoughts? I am concerned after this game. There were multiple good performances, and lost by 8. I know Coach Stevens plays percentages, but J. Murray goes off for 48. He is not even an all-star.

Another game where we jump out to a double digit lead but cannot hold it. Even in our last 2 wins we squandered leads. This team just has zero consistency, which keeps us at a mediocre level.
Hopefully as the year progresses so will our level of play, but right now we are not even close to being championship caliber.

Kyrie was great, but GH and Tatum were mediocre. We haven't had one game yet where everyone played well - although I thought the first quarter was the best basketball we played all year. Another close (until the end) road loss to a good team.
Looking at the standings, we're 6-4 and there are several teams who still only have one loss. But if you look more closely at who's played whom, no one really has any notable road wins yet. Toronto, Denver, even GS are winning at home and beating bad teams on the road. We have two road losses to Toronto and Denver, and I'm not going to read too much into that. If you told me GH is never going to get back to who he was, that would concern me, but I think he will and it's just going to take some time.
Last night we missed a lot of wide open threes (29% overall) and Murray was unconscious. I wouldn't expect to see that very often.

Murray basically got to Paul Pierce's sweet spot (right near the FT line), and was money all night. A couple of additional comments: 1. Hayward did a lot of little things, and I am happy with his progress. 2. I really, really want to see more of RW3. There was a clip, where he out rebounded Jokic (why - wingspan!), and rose for an electrifying dunk. Now, I know why he does not play, because he is somewhat lost on defense.
