Any thoughts?
1. Not a bad loss, however if BOS wants to increase from last year's win total, then this game counts(-). 2. Hayward...def not a max contract players anymore. 3. Smart...def worth this contract, and then some. I really saw his worth in the 4Q. 4. Morris...he is free agent after this year, but wow he is having a fan-tastic season.

I would calm down the Heyward criticism since he is less than 10 games into coming off what could have been a carerr ending injury. He needs time to get back yo normal. He is also on a 24 minute playing restriction.

I think sometimes you just lose hard fought games to good teams in their building. I don't feel we gave it away as much as they won it with a clutch shot at the end. I can't see us losing to them in a playoff series though. I still feel though that we're nowhere near where we'll be in a few months.
GH is not playing at an all-star level, but I don't think it's fair to expect him to. Yet. I think he'll get there.
Other than him, neither Tatum nor Brown seem to have really found their groove yet; nor has Rozier. Maybe Brad has too many players and too few minutes to spread around. It's a good problem, but it's still a problem. As we get further into the schedule maybe Brad takes a page out of Popovich's book and sits people occasionally, giving a player or two the night off while giving more minutes to others.
Morris has been great. At this point we must want him back next year, but he's playing himself into some big money.
Smart will always be a love/hate thing with me. Even when he plays well he chucks up an ill-advised shot or two. Last night's was a quick 3 from the right wing with tons of time on the clock. Then he makes some hustle play that makes up for it.

I think Horford said it best. Paraphrased "We were living on the edge too long."
IND is a good team, well coached. They gave CLE a 7-game series last year too.
I think Brad is experimenting w/ the line-up, specifically the last 5-minutes in a close game. A lot of NBA coaches coach games with their jobs on the line (ex: like play the vets, sit the rooks); Brad uses the regular season to make adjustments for the playoffs.
