This one is going down to the wire but OKC seems to be more in control than the score suggests

Well they got it within 1 with less than two mins to go, but to me OKC seems still totally in control. The refs don't seem to be helping at all

Tied with the ball with 15 on the shot clock and a timeout.

How did the Celts go on a 14-1 run in the last 5 mins?

Apparently Steven Adams was named the toughest player in the NBA and he was like "What does it get me? Nothing? Then it's not worth anything, right?" Gotta say I agree with him

Celts escaped and lost imho, but a win is a win

Thanks Eja for the game day thread. Nice win, away. Tatum again, and Morris, wow he has been awesome off the bench. Hayward, and Brown I am concerned right now.

I'm not concerned about Hayward because it'll probably take a while since he hasn't really gotten a lot of "real-game" practice.
Brown, on the other hand, is looking pretty awful.
However, I think this kind of terrible start to the season is great; I was getting tired of us being crowned the best in the east without having actually shown anything yet with all our guys there. And the "death" lineup has been one of our worsts I believe which is interesting. I like adversity - I'm hoping this lackluster start makes them better when it counts.

I was watching the highlights today. BOS really missed Baynes, as Adams a traditonal 5 feasted inside. I still think Theis is very under rated though.

This game just goes to show that the saying "it's a make/miss league" which we hear so often on the broadcasts, is largely true. When we miss wide open shots, even if the ball movement is good, we look awful - as we did in the first half. Then the shots start falling in the third quarter and all of a sudden we look good.
I'm also not worried about Hayward. He's too good, and has too good a track record to not get back to his former self - as long as there are no lingering physical issues. Jaylen on the other hand doesn't seem to have any feel at all as to what he should be doing out there. He's a smart guy though so I think he'll figure it out with Brad's help.
