Robert Williams III is the Celtics lone pick from this season's draft. He is a lottery talent, but slipped all the way to 27 where the Celtics grabbed him. He has some maturing to do but the talent is there.
Semi Ojeleye is entering his second season in the league. He showed some promise in his first season with the Celtics, playing in 73 regular season games and 17 playoff games, where he started 3 games. He averaged 2.7 points and 2.2 rebounds his first season.
Guerschon Yabusele quickly became a fan favorite in his first season, spending time with both the Celtics and the Red Claws. He played in 33 games with the Celtics and averaged 2.9 points and 1.6 rebounds.

Players to Watch
Zhaire Smith was the 16th pick in the draft by the Phoenix Suns but was traded on draft night to the Sixers for the 10th pick (Mikal Bridges). He averaged 11.3 points, 5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks last season at Texas Tech.
Demetrius Jackson was the 45th pick in last year's draft by the Boston Celtics. He played mostly with the Maine Red Claws and was waived in July after his rookie season. He then signed a 2 way contract with the Houston Rockets last season.
Landry Shamet was the 26th pick in the 2018 draft by the 76ers. He is a 6'4" guard out of Wichita State. He averaged 14.9 ppg and 3.2 rpg last season. He is a 3 point threat.
We finally get to see some Celtics basketball, although of the Summer League variety. This will be the first of several games between the Celtics and 76ers. We will likely face them in the preseason and regular season and post season as both teams seek to take over the top spot in the Eastern Conference with LeBron's exit to the West.
The Celtics should have several players to impress fans in this game. Semi Ojeleye and Guerschon Yabusele, both of whom played with the Celtics last season should headline the Celtics team. Semi became a regular rotation player by the end of last season and even started 3 playoff games. It will be good to see how he has progressed.
Also playing are Kadeem Allen and Jabari Bird were signed to 2 way contracts last season and split their time between the Celtics and the Red Claws. Trey Davis was a star on the Red Claws last season and even put up a 57 point game for them. Jarell Eddie played for the Celtics on a 10 day contract last January.
Of course, all eyes will be on Robert Williams III. After a rocky start, sleeping through his introductory phone conference and missing his first Summer League practice after missing his flight to Boston, he has impressed in subsequent practices. Now is our chance to see him in person. Hopefully he won't disappoint.
