Baynes Re-signs with Celtics

Very shortly after midnight Aron Baynes agreed to a 2 year contract to return to the Celtics. 

He will return on a two-year, $11 million contract with the second year a player option.  Celtics signed Baynes using Non-Bird Rights, keeping their non-taxpayer mid-level exception open. 

Afterwards he tweeted that he was back where he wanted to be and was excited. 

I'm happy!  Now we need to sign Smart.

Very excited about his signing -- it would have been hard to replace his defense along the front line. And I am eager to see him continue to work on his three point shot!
