The Celtics held their first Summer League practice today. Robert Williams III missed his flight and missed practice. He's not off to the greatest start with the team.
On the other hand, Jayson Tatum, who isn't supposed to play in Summer League was there and practiced with the team. I love this kid!!!

Rob needs to buy an alarm clock. I think he can afford it now.
Seriously, he’s already been tardy twice, and he’s only been with the team 10 days. Maybe it’ll turn out to be nothing at all, but it could very well be an indicator of his immaturity.

I'd test him for pot the second he gets to the team and if it's positive I'd tell him to drive up to Maine where he will be remaining with the Red Claws till at least the All Star break. This cycle has to end immediately.
If he doesn't test positive make him carry the bags and fetch everyone water during all summer league

Agreed...the attitude is quite concerning. But lets face it, we've had many 1st round picks who never panned out. Would you be surprised if Williams didnt? Difference is he isn't a top 10 pick like Brown or Tatum.

He's well worth the risk. Unfortunately, the risk is that he doesn't even wake up for the game it seems.
