LeBron signed a 4 year contract with the Lakers. That does 2 things for the Celtics - 1 it renews the rivalry between these two storied franchises and 2, it makes the Celtics the favorites in the East.
Most are expecting a couple more moves - Maybe Cousins and Kawhi. If they trade for Kawhi, it's likely to gut their roster of young talent unless the Spurs are stupid and give him away for nothing. I'm not sure LeBron could handle playing with Boogie.

Well, at least he didn't go to Philly. Let him fight it out with GS, Houston and whoever else out west.

Lance Stephenson just agreed to a contract with the Lakers. Should be fun with him and LeBron together.

Good riddance, IMO this is the last we will ever see of LeBron in then playoffs. Irritates me we blew our chance to beat him this year, but at least now he is out of our hair, and on a team that IMO won't be able to put enough together to beat Golden State. If LeBron + Kyrie + Love, with Thompson and Korver lost in five to GS, I don't see any one or two players LA manages to get enabling an aging LeBron to beat the Warriors, or even Houston for that matter. Harden, Curry, Durrant are all younger than LeBron so it's not like time is on his side.

Lakers have signed both Kentavious Caldwell Pope and Javale McGee. They seem to be filling out their roster with role players.

I think we would’ve been EC champs even if Lebron stayed in CLE.

I think we would’ve been EC champs even if Lebron stayed in CLE. All this does is signify that LeFlop has officially given up on chasing championships because he can't beat GSW and didn't want to lose to Kyrie next year. So he is using the Fakers to go into "mogul" stage of his career and will say that family was the deciding factor. They don't have enough cap space to sign Cousins anymore after the signings they had today. All they have are trades right now because they are now over the cap and have used their full mle on Stephenson. Even of they renounce the rights to Randle and let the Mavs sign him and cut Deng's terrible contract and stretch it out over a 5 year period they don't have enough to sign a FA that is good enough to help them. The Fakers may not be a top 6 team in the West which would be hilarious since the hypocritical Faker fans now love LeFlop after demeaning him for being better than Kobe for all of those years. All this is going to do is put a black mark on his resume because he will be compared to Magic and Kobe who won titles in LA and LeFlop isn't likely to even make a WCF's with them, let alone a Finals and win one.

Magic should've convinced Lebron to hold off announcing until they got rid of Luol Deng's contract by dangling a few first round picks. Now they're stuck with Deng and noone wants their low 1st rounders.

Coach Luke Walton is going to have a lot of issues next season. Stephenson, McGee, and Rondo all qualify as knuckleheads for reasons demonstrated. The IND Pacers, aka Ron Artest melee, were proof when you have a talented team of these type of players.

I don't know if LA is even a playoff team in the West when they have to play all of the Western teams 4 times. They are not better than GSW or Houston. Can anyone honestly say that they are better than OKC, Utah, NO, Minny, Denver, or Portland?
That is not a well constructed team and unless there is a trade the pieces just don't fit. They have zero shooting around LeFlop and two guys who are supposedly passers and not scores in Rondo and the Bricklayer Ball. Combine that with how much LeFlop dominates and initiates the offense, I don't see how this will work.
