Looks like the Kings draft pick isn’t going to be favorable for us. They’re roughly a .500 team, and just traded for Harrison Barnes.
Oh well, there’s still hope for the Grizz pick.

Unfortunately the Grizz pick is Top 8 protected this year, the Grizz traded Gasol and currently have the 6th worst record. I don't think we'll see that this year. Next year it's Top 6 protected and then unprotected after that.

Memphis currently has the 8th worst record in the league, with 8 games remaining on their schedule. They are only half a game behind the Pelicans for the 9th spot. Their pick comes over to us if that’s how the draft order is set, post lottery selection.
The Kings are at 14 currently with 9 games remaining. They’re only half a game better than the Magic, and 2 games ahead of the Hornets. If those teams have a good stretch of games, and Sacramento doesn’t, we could wind up with the 12th pick from them.

Memphis is now tied with New Orleans for the 9th slot, with 8 mores games to play. If the Grizz secure that slot, it conveys over to us.
Sacramento currently sits at 15, but they could fall to 12 with a losing streak -- the Hornets and the Magic, who are just below them, are winning games at the moment.
We are at 20, but have been playing poorly. The Spurs (0.5 games back) and the Thunder (1 game back) can leap over us if we continue to lose.
The Clippers are seated at the 22nd pick, and are one of the hottest teams in the league. But if the hiccup, the Jazz are right there to push them down a slot.
In a very possible scenario, this summer we may have the 9th, 12th, 18th and 20th picks.

The tiebreakers were sorted out today. Pre-lottery, this is where we stand with our picks.
Memphis is 8
Sacramento is 14
Clippers are 20
Celtics are 22
With the lottery selection next month, there is a (slight) chance SAC moves WAY up to 2, 3, or 4.
If a team slated after Memphis leap frogs them in the draft order (such as SAC jumping into the a top 4 slot), they get pushed back, and the Grizz’s pick conveys to us.
So, in the absolute best case scenario, Sacramento gets the #2 and Memphis slides over to #9.
