Well, good to know we have the MLE to use to sign a free agent. 8.6 isn't much, but maybe a serviceable veteran who is looking for a chance at a title.

Doesn't it feel awesome to run it back with Gordon, Kyrie, Robert Williams, someone like Tyreke, Wannamaker, and an improved Jaylen, Tatum, Semi, Yabu, and Rozier?
The whole Kawhi thing seems like a gimmick to me by comparison

Yeah, we can stay put and be in good shape to reach the Finals. But as Ainge was quoted saying, we’re not favorites to win the title. The reason why we’re in talks for Kawhi is because he could be the final piece who makes us the odds on favorite.
But i’d rather not overpay. We can still have a darn good team, and maybe, just maybe, Jaylen and Tatum reach superstardom so that we won’t need Kawhi.

I think Jaylen is well ahead of where Kawhi was at this point of his career. I also think in his 3rd year we are gonna be blown away by Jaylen. I think Gordon is coming off the bench to start

If we resign Smart I doubt we'll use it. But if smart leaves we could use it to find a smart replacement.
