Caught part of an interview with Wyc on WEEI
He said that Banks will play tonight.
He said that Green has been making great strides in his development and won't be sent to the D League and will play this year.
He said that Danny did make an offer to Indy for Artest but didn't say who or what.
I think there was more but that is all I heard.

Perhaps Doc had second thoughts about playing Banks tonight. I didn't seehim in the box score.

They said before the game that he was ready to play but doc wanted him to have another practice before putting him on the floor since he has had just one practice so far. They said for sure he would be in uniform on Friday.

Good to hear Banks is coming back soon. He can add a lot to the Defense. Anyone hear about Tony Allen?

Well, it kind of mirror what was said in the Herald. Banks is close to returning and Allen has had setbacks with his knee (feels soreness and is only participating in 75% of practices).
Orien has been playing a lot of backup minutes lately amd in the Indiana game, he was really doing good things out there (had an incredble pass to Gomes under the basket--what made it so amazing was he totally made that pass off the cuffs, took only an instant for him to recognize the play and fire a perfect bullet pass. No one on the team can do that, aside from maybe Pierce). His jumper was looking much improved as well, and he took them with confidence.
I'd hate to impede on Oriene's progress so I hope Doc takes this into consideration when he brings Banks back. Marcus is a faster player and he can add better pressure defense, but Orien has a chance to be a starting caliber PG because he has the makings of being able to lead a team.

Wow, I don't know what to believe. Wyc exagerates things a bit and I wonder if this is a case of it? Green looked awfully raw in preseason and I don't know if he could have progressed that much to be able to get time when Pierce, Ricky, Gomes, Reed, and Allen are all in front of him.
