They're sort of exposed now because their key glue guy Andre Iguodala is not playing. But when they're right, there's hardly a team that can stop them (but we'll see to that!).

Houston lost to GS for the same reason we lost to Cleveland; they shot horribly in Game 7. Sometimes it just comes down to that. GS can be beaten. Won't be easy, but it can be done.

I think GS gets more beatable the longer their run continues because it's tougher to continue being excellent - this year seemed already pretty difficult for GS. I thought we would've had a good chance at them even this year if we passed CLE just in the sense that we could switch 1-5 on them and have the length to annoy them. It would come down to our offense keeping up which we learned against CLE would've most likely faltered over the course of a series. Still, I think we're set up really well to play them and be flexible to play any other super teams that form down the line.

I like Durant as a player, however he is not a great fit for GS.

Semi and Yabu need to get faster so they can go in there and use their fouls and make life hell. You need to punch them in the mouth

Am I the only one that doesn't even expect Yabu to ever really be a player or factor in the NBA? I wouldn't be shocked if he wasn't in the NBA in 5 years or just playing in the G league. I definitely don't see him ever being a part of our rotation other than being on the end of the bench and garbage time. Maybe I think very lowly of him, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if he ever played meaningful minutes consistently in the NBA.
Semi has already played important minutes and will have a nice role as a 3 and D guy if he can get a little more confident on the offensive end over the year.

That is exactly what I think. He hasn't really shown anything so far. I've wondered whether Danny was looking for a "Draymond Green type" and made a longshot bet on Yabusele. The difference is that DG is much more athletic. Yabusele needs to work hard on his body if he's to have any chance of being a rotation player with us, or even with a bad team. I think he has some skills, but they won't show if he isn't much more athletic. I think if he lost 20-30 pounds he'd be quicker and still have plenty of bulk to defend big guys.

Nope, not me. I’m holding onto my hope that Yabusele will become a factor for us. He’s got skills — just hasn’t put it together yet. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdEfXaqf1_YThese clips are just his highlights, and half of them are against junk teams. But you can see his shooting touch and range, his agility and creativity, and his charismatic personality.

I agree he has those skills and he's definitely a great team guy in terms of personality - it was just shocking to me how bad he looked (per my expectations) when he was out there in NBA games, just seemed lost or like he didn't really understand what to do with switching and playing defense. Doesn't mean I think he was a bad pick - like jmost said, I think it was a good bet and he obviously still has time to prove me and others wrong to either work on his body or put it all together.

I do not see Yabu getting much playing time, because of defense. He carries a lot of weight.

Who would win the lane agility contest drill? I never saw either player in person, however I did see Sully live at the TD Garden and he was huge. That was 2013 too!

Excess weight slows everybody down. Smart, who didn't look nearly as heavy as Yabusele, came back last fall saying he had lost weight and as a result was a lot more explosive. Yabusele may not look slow, DM, but he'd be faster if he lost some weight. And be able to jump higher as well.
