We cannot keep both Smart and Rozier. Both are ball handlers who are streaky shooters, who will also ask for starter’s pay, even if they’re ideally backups. That is easy, you keep Rozier.

Tatum scored 15 (on 7-13) yet didn't play well. I think he'll show up.
I really didn't expect to win this one. I thought we could, but wasn't confident. What I wanted if we lost was to be competitive and make James work for 4 quarters - which we did. I still believe we'll see dividends on Sunday.

I don't know what happens to us on the road that we can't keep our heads on straight and maintain any offensive continuity. Another horrid quarter costs us the game. I get so sick of the compulsive quick jump shots -- we have seen it so many times you wonder why in the world they don't ever learn their lesson.
We had better keep playing well at home, or it will be a long and bitter summer. We need to close this out then figure out how to show up on the road.

The difference for me is that Rozier's shooting has improved every year. A lot. Smart hasn't improved at all.
With Smart, what you see is what you're gonna get. Rozier has a much higher potential.

Actually, in perspective, we took another massive blow from Lebron, a combined 44 pts from George Hill, Jeff Green and Larry Nance, refs calling lots of fouls on us in the 2nd, a near goose egg from one of our veteran leaders (Horford), and we still only lost by 10. Had it not been for the terrible second quarter run they went on, we might’ve seen a different ending.

Just noticed on Sportscenter that Brothers was an official for Cleveland's Game 7 against Indiana, so I will assume we will get him in our Game 7 too.

Kinda felt that Tatum was thrown in the deep end having to guard arguably the most physically gifted basketball player over the past decade one on one. In all fairness even with tight coverage, Lebron was feeling it...those drilled 3 pointers late in the game was a literal hot hand just going off. Can't do much about those.

I thought Tatum did a great job on those two 3's, but James just made tough shots. Jayson will be even better on that end when he gets stronger.

Frustrating loss. Lebron James was amazing on offense. A lot of his points were contested, low percentage shots, which he made. Rozier/Brown/Tatum were awesome. 3-years ago, Rozier shot 29% as a rookie. Last year, Brown scored 5 points a game in the playoffs.

One bright side to Game 6 was TR having a great game on the road. 28 pts on 10-16 shooting, 7 assists and only 1 TO. The narrative for the first couple of rounds of the playoffs was that he was very good at home but didn't play well on the road, so he's cleared another hurdle in his progression to solid NBA player.

Love is officially out for Game 7. IDK if that is good or not because we were killing him in this series. I am guessing that Green gets the start in his place.

And we all hope we see the Jeff Green we saw for 4 1/2 years in Boston. No idea what got into him last game.
I'm curious to see if we switch things up a little, guarding James. With Love out, that's one three point shooter taken out of the rotation for Cleveland. Given how effective James was taking it to the rim, maybe we throw some double teams at him to get the ball out of his hands, and make someone else beat us - at least on occasion. Everyone know that role players don't tend to play, or shoot, as well on the road. Normally I hate leaving anyone alone for an open 3, but James was making it look so easy last game taking it all the way that we may have to double him and close out on the shooter as best we can.

Yeah, i think Love being out threw us off track a bit. Really didn’t expect Jeff Green and George Hill to be such factors. But as we all know, it is genetically impossible for Jeff Green to have back to back good games — his arms literally might fall off.

Who will be the hero in Game 7? Remember Kelly Olynyk going nuts last year in a Game 7?
I think Jaylen is the most likely, but could be any one of several guys.

Anytime I saw Jeff Green score, I was like why now?
