11 pt hole heading into the half.
Could have been worse.
Why did we not go to Jaylen and Tatum more? Why don't we take the ball away from Smart and Morris?

How does the offense always seem to exclude Horford on the road? It’s gotta be that we are not patient and not running the offense as designed. Better hope we show some urgency in the 2nd half. Couldn’t picture a worse second quarter especially after how positive that 1st quarter was

Cleveland is being allowed to foul the !!!GREENIAC!!! out of us while we can't touch LeFlop or he is on the line.
Both Marcus's killed us and we got way to 3 point reliant, but a fairly officiated game this would be a lot closer. That is if we made our free throws.

Nothing kills momentum more than forced 3 after forced 3 AFTER forced 3...c'mon Smart...that was so bloody dumb. Where is the discipline to keep with Coach's rotations and letting the play develop.

We've seen it before this season, a terrible second quarter digs us a hole. We have such a hard time stringing 4 quarters of decent basketball together. Luckily we had that late 3 and are within shouting distance -- we have also had our share of comebacks this year.
What in the world has come over Green? I expected LeBron to show up, but my goodness who woke Green up?
We need much better defense in the second half, and some consistent offense. Rebounding wouldn't hurt either.

Horford was terrible in the first half. Hasn't scored and gave up some offensive rebounds when he had great position which lead to 2 of Cleveland's 3 point makes when we should have been pushing the ball up the court.
The big guy needs realize what is on the line and show that he wants to play for a Championship starting next Thursday.

Why did the cetics all of sudden decide to start jacking up quickj shots early in the shot clock when we were doing so well offensively. Now we’ve lost control of this game. This could get ugly quick Exactly. We moved the ball beautifully for the first several possessions. Then the Marcuses started jacking up early threes and all the flow in the offense disappeared. I swear the worst thing that can happen in a Celtics game, barring injury, is Marcus Smart making his first shot. Still, we're only down 11. James is already gassed. If we can stay in it and make him work, James will be toast by the 4th quarter. Keep wearing them down!

Not any better in this 2nd half. Quick misses and then letting the Cavs go on the break for layups. Inexplicable.

We pass the ball around, several guys had the chance to shoot, but somehow it winds up in Smart's hands out at the arc with time running out. Just awful. If we would just stop turning the ball over and had the right guys shooting we'd be a lot closer.

If it gets to 19 I'd tell Semi "You have one mission. Make Bron's life hell. Use your fouls. I don't care. Make him tired. Make him work for everything."

When the Cavs are playing good offense....I get that. When they are playing good offense and defense.....that's terrifying.

Ok.....that right there. The Cavs force a switch and Terry is guarding Bron...again. Great. If Bron backs him down or goes by him and the help is late....I get that. But passing it across court to a wide open Jeff Green who knocks down a three? Cmon.

Morris is the only reason we are not a hell of a lot closer right now. He has been pathetic in this game.
IDK where this Jeff Green came from because I sure as hell wish he would have played this well in his time in Boston.

Well there’s a chance. Similar to Game 4, though, where it feels like it’s more likely that we get close only for the Cavs to push the lead back out again

I was thinking that I don't remember Green ever being this aggressive in all his time with us.
