We did tons of right things, and a few things wrong. Can we repeat our efforts again for Game 2?

Yes, absolutely. This win wasn't the result of us playing above our heads, like when Smart shot lights out in our lone win in last year's ECFs. We dominated because we're younger, quicker and faster than the Cavs, because our ball movement was great, and our D was, as it has been most of the year, elite.
I expect the Cavs to shoot better and to play harder, but if we keep doing what we did today, we should win again.

I’ve heard a few of players reiterate what Brad said, that we aren’t about individual accomplishments, but we’re going to win by a collective team effort.

Also, its safe to say that every game, we’re going to get 60 to 70 pts from Jaylen, Tatum, Horford and Rozier combined.
The big thing is getting guys to step up and provide scoring help. Today it was Morris, and maybe it’ll be him again. Or maybe Smart will have his complimentary big night. Maybe Semi, or Baynes or Monroe will come through.

I don't think these blow outs are sustainable.

I don't think so. We obviously can win, but game 1 was a pretty pathetic performance by Cleveland just in terms of effort and competitiveness. I was shocked at how low energy they seemed in comparison to us. If they play like that - yes, we'll sweep them. I highly doubt we'll see that CLE in game 2.
I think it all depends on Lebron. If he decides to play a majority of the game from the post - he can essentially dominate us. He seemed extremely disinterested in game 1 and was settling way too much. Yes, we made him settle but I think this will be similar to the Pacers series where I wouldn't be surprised if some games we blow them out, but then the next game they win. I think the strength of our defense is in guarding the perimeter, in switching, in our length, and our speed...but I'm not sure we can handle them if Cleveland runs the offense through Lebron in the post catching the ball closer to the basket. Would we double him or will he just take it strong to the hole, get us in foul trouble, and get easy buckets? Obviously this depends on Morris, Brown, Semi, and the rest. Is Lebron comfortable doing that? He seemed to be during the Toronto series, but why was he so complacent in game 1? CLE has looked terrible before in the 1st round then they looked like a championship team in round 2. I'd expect we'd have to show we can withstand the effort of the CLE team from round 2 to show we can take this series.

The great news is that Tony Brothers is officiating Game 1 of the WCF'S so he won't be officiating Game 2 of our series.

I want to know how much of it was CLE's so called "lack of energy" vs how much our defense impacted them.
If it was our defense that nullified their gameplan, and made them look dazed, then we're looking good. But if they downplayed us and didn't think they needed to expend a lot of energy to dispose of us, then I'm curious to see what the outcome will be when they do.

Well, with us being up 3 - 2 in this series vs. the Cavs, I guess our efforts are sustainable.
Amazing how much Brad can bring out in his players.

I don't think it's sustainable for us to hit all our shots and them hit none. Although in the last game we didn't shoot that great.
