What do you guys think Rozier will level off as?
One of the best backups in the game? A solid starter? An abover average starter? All-Star caliber?
As Eddie pointed out, Rozier is earning himself a big contract with his performance in the playoffs. He may price himself out of our budget. Is what he'll demand going to be inline with his level of play?

I think Rozier is going to be at worst a solid starter and at best an All Star. He's got the tools and work ethic and he plays both ends of the court. He is effective without turning the ball over and can score inside and out. I'm afraid that he is going to want to continue to start after getting this taste of it in the playoffs and with Kyrie on the team, that's not going to happen in Boston.

I'd agree that it isn't going to happen right away. But I remember Kyrie himself saying he looked forward to TR taking over the starting PG role at some point, so apparently he wouldn't be bothered by it ego-wise. I imagine what Kyrie had in mind was the two of them being on the court together with Kyrie sliding over to SG. Back in the mid-80's DJ and Danny were both just "guards" with them sharing the job of initiating the offense. Of course, they had a pretty good passer at forward to help them.
Terry's emergence is certainly a nice "problem" to have. You're not going to trade TR for another PG. We are well-stocked with wing players (Jaylen, Gordon, Jayson), and up front Al still has some years left in his prime. So the only way I see us trading him is for another big man, and not just another big body, but a stud - who are rarely available.
But back to the thread topic, I agree with FLCeltsFan: at worst a solid starter, at best an all-star. I hope we can keep him.
