I don't think we need a player that is the next T.Owens. Also, "ya know", is something idiots say every other sentence. Ya know? We don't need a fool that can't form a sentence. Ya know? I would rather have Mark being Mark... This has a lot to say about education and using it. I would rather lose than have that type of trash on my team. I don't mind people making money. Uneducated crap pulling in dough, ticks me off! ! ! Can you say, "homeless", without basketball? That's where he would be... Rant over. Thanks for your time. Ya know.

Sorry, don't want him. He is the T.O. of basketball.

After some thinking, geting Artest may not work. I'm not so much worried about his character. I'm not sure his game would fit in with our team.

If we could trade Veal to get him, I would say go for it. But wouldn't give up any of our core or young players for him. I don't see Larry trading him for anything less than a budding all star or very good player. Also, i don't see him trading him within the conference. My best guess is that he will go out west.

Well said C-17. A rant, however some very valid points. Artest is a "thug." The Det-Ind was one of the worst displays of professionalism I have ever seen. Also, Artest is a very good defender but his defense gets more credit than deserved. Most NBA players fear him, not because of his great defense, but because he is one sandwich less than a picnic.

Well, I read on the celtics blog that wyc on EEI that Ainge has put down an offer for Artest. But, so has 16 other teams. For who, I have no clue but I guess Ainge see what everyone sees in Artest and that is a top 15 talent with a very manageable contract.

If I'm gonna have a Blount on my team it may as well be a talented and underpaid Blount, so I'd trade Blount and maybe another cancer or player I don't want straight up for Artest. that's about it

Blount and whom, EJA?
I'm open to options, as the GM?

Banks, Allen, Reaf, Dickau, Scale? Other? Some might be contract-wise.

My understanding is that Artest only makes $6.8 mill/yr, and Blount makes like somewhere from 5 to 7 mill so I think the deal actually works almost straight up, but if I had to throw in extra Scala makes 3 mill and Oriene Green makes less than a mill. I don't think we're going to get a perfect straight up match. Someone will have to take on 1-2mill

Larry trading Artest to Danny is slim, and none.
