I read today she has been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer, but requested that Marcus stay with the team. Sure hope she gets to see him play in the playoffs this year.

I'm praying for Marcus and for his family. That's tough for him to have to deal with. His mom told him to go back to the team and seeing him on the court will make her smile. That will be either a great motivation for him or a tremendous pressure. I'm hoping that he can get back soon and do great things on the court, not just for the team but for his mom and him as well.
