I'm going to make a prediction: Ron Artest is going to be traded to Miami for Antoine Walker (others are going to be involved, but these two are the key components). Now that Pat Riley is head coach once again, he's going to want Ron Artest. We all know that Riley likes defense and Artest's the best in the business. And Walker goes to IND because Bird likes him. I remember a few years ago that Bird said that Walker is a good player who just needs to be tamed.
Since Artest wants to leave anyways, Bird and Donnie Walsh are going to have to take the best offer. I say this one goes down.

Funny thing, Walker came to my mind too.

well, how many coaches have tried to tame walker. i think he's pretty much untameable in gms' eyes. and i predict he'll be going to some west's crap team

Well, he certainly hasn't learned his lesson yet. He's shooting 40%, jacking up 5 three pointers a game, and has a 1:1 assist to turnover ratio.
But depending on the offers they receive from other teams, Bird and Walsh may be tempted to take Walker if Pat Riley offers him. I just think the situation is too scripted for it not to happen. I mean, all of a sudden, Artest wants out, and this just happens to coincide with Riley's return to coaching.

I would be pissed if Miami gets Artest for only A.Walker. Especially after we traded walker for scrubs & 2nd rounders.

No, I'm pretty sure if this goes down, more players will be involved. This may be a bit of a surprise, but as good as Ron Artest is, he's only making 6 million a year. Talk about a bargain--he and Ricky Davis may be the 2 players at giving their teams the most bang for their bucks.
